If we choose the floor, today we hope to write about the installation and maintenance of the wood composite flooring. Wood-plastic materials are basically used outdoors, usually used in parks, floors next to swimming pools, outdoor wall panels, gazebos, chairs, fences, etc.

Cutting and drilling

1. It is recommended to use alloy saw blades and drill bits
Tip: Saw blades (such as 45 cm in diameter and 18-24 teeth) are easier to cut.
2. WPC profiles are very easy to use. Unlike wood, you don’t have to worry about the grain direction or knots of wood-wood (WPC) profiles.
3. When drilling large or deep holes, it is time to withdraw the drill bit to bring out the debris. Do not always want a one-time drill.

 Storage and storage

1. Compared with wood, wood-plastic profiles are more important and tough than wood. Be careful when using them. When lifting a WPC profile that is close to the volume of wood, you may have to work harder and pay attention to breaking.
2. When storing on the construction site, be sure to place it on a flat surface.
3. When stacking profiles, they should be placed from the ends of the joists. The center distance between two adjacent joists should be no more than 60 cm. The joists should be arranged perpendicular to the profiles.
4. When the plastic wood materials are stacked outdoors, they should be packed in a bundle and stacked flat to prevent the sun from being deformed.
5. Since the friction coefficient of plastic wood is not high in hardwood floor, it cannot be checked on plastic wood board during transportation to avoid damage to the floor surface.

Installation

1. Under normal circumstances, the support of the plastic wood (WPC) profile requires a span of 30-50 cm (depending on the size of the profile).
2. Self-powered screws are durable and are the first choice for installing plastic wood (WPC) profiles.
3. When using special screws for installation, you must drill holes beforehand. The diameter of the pre-drilled hole should be less than 3/4 of the diameter of the straight nail or screw.
4. When the profile width is greater than 10mm, each end should be fixed with two screws. Shorter spacing may be required in special service environments or under extreme load conditions, such as hot water baths.
Fives. gap
Considering drainage, cleaning, and slight thermal expansion, shrinkage, etc., when installing WPC profiles, there must be a proper gap between the sides to the side.
Edge to edge:wood composite profiles requires 4 mm or more between the edges and sides: When installed in a cold climate, the clearance requirement is 4 mm or more.
Head-to-head: The size of the gap between the head and the head of the WPC profile depends on the length of the profile, the temperature at which it is installed, the coefficient of thermal expansion of the profile, and the maximum possible local temperature.
Head-to-head gap calculation:
For example: a 2 meter long profile with a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius on the day of installation and a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius on the hottest day of the year, then the gap that the head should retain when installed:
Δ L= ζ x (Tmax-“T) Xl=2000x (40-10) x0.9×10-4=5.4mm

Note: WPC profiles must be installed with proper clearance and mounted directly on the joists. Do not attach WPC profiles directly to any solids such as concrete, roof slabs or roofs.
(1) When wood is used for railings. It must be lined with steel pipe or square steel, and the floor should be absolutely firm. The spacing of the railings should be lining every 450mm to prevent deformation and falling.
(2) When using wood for pavilions or flower stands, consider the coefficient of thermal expansion, and the columns and beams must be lined with square tubes, and the vertical joints should be firmly connected.
(3) Plastic wood has certain plastic characteristics. Therefore, when the length is more than 3 meters, the material has a certain curvature, and it is easy to be corrected to normal when installed. If the profile of the wood is different, the bending deformation is relatively increased. The installation is basically correct in place.
(4) When the profile is installed upright and the length is greater than 3 meters, each end shall be fixed with 4 pairs of clamp screws. And the vertical screw spacing is above 1000px, so that the four screws at each end are equally stressed.

The choice of UV is used.

If the customer asks for it, the color will basically fade to about 20% within three years. Whether to choose to use is your choice.
Cleaning

1. Contamination caused by molds, mold, berries and leaves: Use a detergent containing detergent and sodium hypochlorite.
2. Rust and grime: Use a cleaning agent containing phosphoric acid, which can be purchased at home stores and hardware stores.
3. Oil and grease contamination caused by touch: Once contamination is found, scrub with a detergent containing degreaser. Plastic wood (WPC) tips: You can use fine sandpaper to polish off the grease pollution. The polished places, like the newly installed wood-wood profiles, will be slightly changed by the climate.
4. Regularly use tools to remove debris from the gaps in the profile to ensure smooth drainage.
